My practice focuses on identity and aims to capture characteristics in order to form an image that the viewer can relate to. I find the process of representing a form using marks on a single surface fascinating. Considered marks are visible and mapped with traces of myself in order to create not only a realistic impression but bring life and personality to an image.

I undertake a variety of subjects such as individual or combined portraits, pets and landscapes in a selection of outcomes from framed pastel/pencil drawings to acrylic on canvas as well as various other mediums upon request.
